His boss to him - "Ok, you can try this analysis by using different variables. But pleeeeeeez dont choose the variables like girls"[Whatever that meant...by the tone i was pretty sure it didn't mean to flatter girls]
Me - "I am standing right here, guys!"
The colleague - "Oh come on. You are not a girl."
I wasnt sure who was more deserving of my killing stare!!

Gear-up, thats Egypt for you!
@Sane Insane - What do you mean? [You keep forgetting my low levels of IQ]
You mean Egypt turns me into a man?
:P
:S
How can you choose variables like girls??? I didn't know that gender can creep into analysis too.
That was a cheap statement. But is it the price you pay for working in Egypt? :P
@ Sue - My young friend , you have to learn so much about this bad bad world! :)
@ Practical Preacher - Incidentally both of these guys (the colleague & his boss) are from the Indian subcontinent) :)
Egypt = male dominated society
therefore the thought patterns are a bit skewed!
if I were you, i would have felt bad on the last remark than the variables ones.
Maybe they meant girl in a "girly" sense.
Nevertheless, I hope you gave them both a glare!
agree with anand on the explanation of the second comment.
I get that statement all the time, followed by a silence and an explanation -"Oh I meant that you don't behave like a typical girl." which according to me is a compliment cos typical "girly" girls are damn irritating.
@ Sue - You see "Girly" has always eluded me in the past. So these comments just go to show, that it probably always WILL!
Damn it!! I am doomed for life. :P :P
